In 2003 she was a character on Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. This character earned her a nomination in the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for the Best Newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas, the ABC TV show's female lead between 2007 and the year 2008. Dollar was the lead character in Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC Pilot, which was not picked up.
